Belated report of the February ops at Red Lake - Part 3 Right, so I caught a local charter back down to Red Lake... It took us few days waiting for the arrival of a spare Gypsy engine, service it and get it ready for transport to Joe's. On the 18th we were ready and booked a combined flight for the delivery of the engine to Burntwood lake, with charter to pick up 6 passengers at Munroe lake for their return flight to Red lake... I did mark the flights on this map (it's LARGE :-)) ... and there's some snapshots of this flight too, naturally. For this flight I used the old Beech 18 'Severin' out of Chimo's hangar and guess what? It was a cold and wintery day :-) enroute... approach to Joe's...
approach to Munroe lake...
Oops! now, where did leave my report accounting for the 'move' of the Auster from Joe's to Pikangikum? [] see flight log flightno. 944 Cheers, Brick < back to RLBA index |
