Picture from APT-061 mission

So, fellow nomads, here are the pictures taken from the latest mission with Sir Brick. When we first met at San Bernardino, I saw him sitting in something, ahem, experimental. I know he has good connections with AeroPedro, so I am only half surprised. anyway, when I finally was ready to take off, he also changed into a somewhat more classic aircraft.

We eventualy got prepared and were ready for take off from DFHI:

Here we are outbound DFHI, Cpt. Brick was already a couple hundred feets higher, so I couldn't ccapture him on this picture:

After a few minutes of sweat driving action around the platform, I was able to land, and went down to disassemble the first comm device:

I am always impressed from the view from the platform. This alone is a good reason to keep training and learning, and be able to land the helo up there. I could sit there for hours (if it were a bit warmer), watching the clouds drift by, looking down to the glacier landing pace... simply beautiful:

Here we are already at the moment of the second landing. There comes Cpt. Brick, in a horrendous tempo...:

Shortly before he wiped me off the platform, he pulled the stick and went up so fast that I alsmot broke my neck following him with my eyes...:

what I fear even more than the approach, is the take off. it requires really smooth stick and collective action to get away from there without touching the walls:

After unloading the second device at the glacier camp, Brick and me met in the sky again, and started to heqad back home. I always love to fly over my trusty old lodge at Lago Espirito. Still _the_ place where I want to become old...:

And on final to DFHI, happy, very happy that this mission went so well:

So, all is done now. Let's go to Northport and celebrate our success and comraderie!
