Bringing Troll back home

Fellow dESPairados.
When I heard our fellow nomad Ol' Troll howling under the treatment at the Sixtus Regional Hospital, I stressed my schedule and found free time to give him a lift to his home, St. Tim's.

We all know that Trolls don't recovery well outside their common surrounding, so I understood Troll's situation as to be of great importance for his complete recovery. So, I left the HQ meeting a bit earlier than expected, and managed to get hold of the SpecialOps Blackhawk Helo again (the same one I used for the comm transport mission).

I then returned to the HQ, to prepare the soon to be published SITREP III. Even the exceptional work of the HQ staff, under the lead of Stanley Pieceofcake, was not enough to clarify the situation fast enough. Finally, when we were done with the SITREP and the mission planning, five of us were flown to Hemp heights, with the Blackhawk. In Hemp Heights, I switched to the left seat and flew to Sixtus B regional - an uneventful, but nice flight. It was already late when I landed on the roof of the hospital, and I could see Troll waving. Looks like the poor bugger was waiting for hours on the roof...

I picked up Troll, who seemed to be in pretty good shape already. Once he was seated, we took off, hoovering a bit over the city, and then heading towards Mogador. We had a pleasant conversation during the flight, but we didn't miss the opportunity to look out for unidentified traffic. However, the sky and the sea were dark, and it was hard to see anything.

Once we approached Mogador, Troll began to get nervous, and it took quite a while before he made it clear that he could need an "infusion" now. The glucose water doesn't seem to be the right fuel for Trolls. So, we landed in front of the super market, got some of the "Troll fuel" and took off again, before someone could ask us too many questions.

I must say, I was (and still am) impressed with the effect of the Troll refuelling. He really seemed to get more drive, more power, and he made funny noises, like a cat that stretches in the sun... The flight was pretty nice, if you know how my helo flights usually go. So, I delivered Troll to the Lighthouse at St. Tim's for further treatement by Desperella. May he get back to his old shape very soon.

I flew to Hofer Intl., and slept in my good old hemp straw bed at Lago Espirito, mentally preparing for the next day's test flights with the HakAir FanTrainer. a good reason to perform low altitude flights and to do some unusual manouvres. More about that in the next episode...
