BBQ at Lago Espirito
Cpt. Iron Wolf's PUT-Race win party

[Archipelago mission index]

Finding Brick was easy. Finding the keys to our secret double malt reservoir wasn't. Here's why...

We were asked to have a look after the whereabouts of Cpt. Brick. And our esteemed Cpt. Jackal already reported back with some details. Once again, I was late. Held back with tons of paper work required to run such a company, I took off three times with the intention to find the said pub and have a chat with Brick about guano delivery plans. (I expect a delivery that won't be able to land on Hemp Heights. Sixtus B. is our target and then we move on by ship). But I never made it through. Each time I was drawn into the beauty of the islands. I had to visit a few friends, visit a few forgotten and abandonned places with Vic on my lap, er, side. So, when I found time to fly, Brick was already back at Sixtus B. He told me they ran out of beer in the pub and he was just organizing the urgent restocking. So, We arrainged to have a short flight together to the much talked about pub. No I won't tell you the name. Go and have a look yourself. It's worth the time.

Brick agreed to play the guide dog and took off in front of me. Gladly we know the guys from the tower so well, it was no question to take off in formation. All went smooth.

Always. Keeping a good visual contact with Cpt. Brick. Not easy for Hak, the old freedom lover. When we arrived at the pub, we made a low bypass to check the road is clear. These low bypasses also help signaling the pub staff to run out and secure the road strip. Since Cpt. Skybuster on Mogador has taken up the taildragger schooling, the ub owner has complained of many occasions when the staff ran out and blocked the road, and then realized it must have been one of these taildragger-students coming in waaay too low.

Brick gave the tops to break from formation and fly a tight one-eighty:

Too busy to keep my 200 ft distance to Brick who was landing in front of me. That nasty road looked so short suddenly! Nose down, to flare strongly short before touch down! Sideslip to loose speed. Fighting with the stall horn... but eventually we managed to get our wheels safe on the ground. Brick was rolling out and watched me turn around the house. It was that moment when I realized the name... the d... oh, go have a look yourself.

Turned around the pub, prepared to park on the road and unload our goods.

For your interest. Since we had these unconfirmed rumors about the special geological processes in the underground of the Archipelago, we have sightings of marine ships around our islands. I urge you all to watch this situation closely, and report any suspicious moments directly to the HQ.

In the pub, we met five guys who just heard from the new flight school on Mogador island and they want to have a lesson for almost any price. So, gentlemen:

Anyone cares to pick up the five guys here at the pub and transport them to Mogador. Pay is goood and they smell ok.

Clear skies,
Cpt. Hak
