| Just slightly more than 12 minutes into the flight after repairing the engine (and of course also checking the working one), the master caution board flashed lke a cheap italian christmas tree... dammit! engine fire right. Ok, pulled the checklist for engine fire, and worked me through to get the flames under control. then, a quick scan for nearby airports for a new emergency landing. At that point, the engine sound was so mind boggling that I don't know if I was more happy than alarmed, when one engine went out... |
